Opinion Paragraph :University Islam Assyafi'iyah
As we know, there are many universities in Indonesia, both public and private. As for the private ones, there are various kinds of locations, both strategic and not strategic. This time the private university in my opinion which is very strategically located and can be reached by public transportation is
University Islam Assyafi'iyah . This university was built on November 14, 1965 (at the time of the Islamic Education Academy). The increase from AKPI to University occurred on March 12, 1969 with the founder named K.H Abdullah Syafi'i. The location of this university is in Bekasi City, precisely in Jatiwaringin, Pondok Gede.

In this university there are 6 faculties and 16 study programs from Bachelor to Doctoral programs, namely: Faculty of Economics and Business (Management, Accounting), Faculty of Science and Technology (Informatics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, and Biology), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (English Education, Counseling Guidance, Educational Technology), Faculty of Law (Legal Science), Faculty of Health Sciences (Nursing), Faculty of Islamic Religion (Sharia Banking, Islamic Broadcasting Communication, Islamic Education, Da'wah Science).
But why is it that this university is less well known and it is also rare that other people often hear about this university? The answer, in my opinion, is due to the lack of accommodations from the campus such as limited land which can be said to be small compared to other universities, as well as the lack of interest in lectures on private campuses where people assume it is better to study at state universities than private universities.
Noisy vehicles passing by because it coincides with the highway and also a room that is less soundproof which can interfere with activities while on campus, behind it can use public transportation because it is in a strategic place.
The lack of enthusiasm for continuing education also affects why this University is less well known, as well as the surrounding community who still underestimate this private campus.
In addition to the limitations of several factors, it does not discourage friends who want to take the level of education to lectures, because at Assyafi'iyah Islamic University we can register with various paths from what is called independent and scholarships that are attached and cooperate with this campus.
