Do you know anything about As-Shafi'iyah Islamic University? 

The As-Syafi'iyah Islamic Education Academy (AKPI) was founded on November 14, 1965, and on March 12, 1969, it was promoted to a university. As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University is the result of this development. The pioneering and caring started in 1928 when the then-18-year-old Abdullah Syafi'ie started a madrasa with a land parcel from his father as the capital. "Perguruan As-Syafi'iyah" was the name under which the madrasah evolved from "Al-Islamiyah". As-Syafiiyah Islamic University (UIA) incorporates both religion and science into its educational program. Its goal is to "Realizing UIA as a superior educational institution at the national and international levels, becoming a center for the study, development and practice of religion, science and technology and human resources in 2030."

With six faculties and sixteen degree programs, Syafi'iyah Islamic University comprises the following : 

1. Faculty of Islamic Religion

• Sharia Banking (S1)

2. Faculty of Law 

• Law Science (S1)

3. Faculty of Economics and Business

As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University Facts

Assyafiiyah Islamic University's dedication to raising the standard of instruction is demonstrated by its accreditation as an Excellent Institution and by the fact that 77% of its study programs are Good or Excellent. 

1. Establishing an Educational Framework for the Integration of Religion and Science.

2. Establishing a Research Community as the cornerstone for the advancement of research and technology, which generates human capital equipped to address local, national, and international issues and apply science and technology to enhance societal well-being.

3. Performing community service is a way to contribute to the upkeep and advancement of Islamic civilization.

4. Setting up an autonomous, responsible, and transparent system of university governance.

Thus, you are already up to date on everything Syafi'iyah Islamic University has to offer. So why do so many people not know about UIA? 

Many people, in my opinion, are unaware of UIA for the following reasons: 

1. The university's reputation. Students' interest in selecting a university is impacted by this. Students tend to favor universities with a solid reputation and that they can trust [1].

2. The campus is not in the heart of the city 

3. Exorbitant tuition costs can prevent many students from attending private colleges.

4. Some students might think that the programs and courses offered by private universities aren't distinctive or engaging enough for them. 

5. Some students might think that private universities have an excessively rigid or regulated curriculum. Lastly, a few students might think that social environments or communities at private universities aren't inclusive or warm enough for them.

However, as can be seen from the aforementioned arguments, UIA offers chances for those who wish to attend. Accepting scholarship pathways is similar to what the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education does.
