MIRACLE IN CELL NO. 7
The film that brought 5 million people to tears!
Ever watched a movie that brought you to tears? That would be "Miracle in Cell No. 7" then! An adaptation of a Korean film into an Indonesian film that brought tears to my eyes.
The narrative centers on Dodo Rozak, a mentally retarded father who is charged with the murder of a kid. Despite his innocence! Dodo, who was given a life sentence, has to struggle to stay in contact with his daughter Kartika.
Dodo first meets indifferent other prisoners in the prison. However, Dodo's generosity and love for Kartika made them melt. They assist Dodo keep in touch with Kartika, and even help her study and grow in prison.
I was genuinely moved by the cast's performances, notably those of Vino G. Bastian as Dodo Rozak and Graciella Abigail as (little) Kartika. I could feel their difficulty because of their tremendous chemistry.
This film conveys a very significant message. That compassion and generosity are present everywhere, including prison. I became aware of the value of friendship and family after watching this film.
All things considered, "Miracle in Cell No. 7" is an essential film! This film touched, laughed, and made me cry. In any case, I experienced a wide range of emotions from this film.
Rating: 10/10 stars! ✨✨✨✨
It's highly recommended that you watch this film if you enjoy drama and family films.
