On this National Education Day, what should we do?

Today on May 2, 2024, we are celebrating National Education Day, or what we often call Hardiknas. But, let's try, before we continue, let's discuss first, what is the meaning and importance of Hardiknas for us, Gen Z? Okay, here's the story.

So, back in the day, during the Dutch colonial era, he was a cool figure, he was an education fighter, friends! Fighting discrimination so that native children can get a proper education. Now, to remember history, we celebrate him every May 2 as National Education Day.

Hardiknas, is it really important?

Uh, don't underestimate, my friends! Hardiknas is important for you, for me, for all of us, Gen Z! It's not just about saying thank you to teachers, but also reminding us how important education is for our future.

So, what should we do?

Now, the question is, what can we do on this National Education Day? It's really easy, my friends! First, you can appreciate the teachers who have helped you until now. Secondly, you can reflect on the importance of knowledge for your career and future.

So, instead of just playing games on your phone or scrolling through social media, let's make use of this National Education Day moment for useful things. Let's be the next generation that is smart and has character, and friends! Rise with a better education!
