I want to discuss a serious topic, about humans who cultivate catcalling so that many become victims of catcalling. So, for those of you who have experienced catcalling or not, I hope this article can be useful for you.

What's the Deal with Catcalling?

Before you know what catcalling is, catcalling means sexual harassment that is done in public spaces by giving obscene words to the victim. Usually, victims of catcalling are women. When you're walking down the street, suddenly some ignorant guys make disrespectful comments to you. I'm telling you, that's not okay at all.

It's not just a comment!

For those of you who have been victims of catcalling, I understand that it's not just a small comment that can be ignored. It can make you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, and often down. It's not an easy thing to forget, my friends.

How to deal with it?

I can't say that there's a magic way to ward off catcalling, but definitely, never feel like it's your fault. It's about them not being able to control their mouths. If you feel threatened or uncomfortable, don't hesitate to ask for help or even report it to the authorities.

So, what's the solution?

The solution to this problem will not come by itself. We have to raise awareness together and not hesitate to speak up if we see or hear catcalling. We must be a voice for the voiceless.
